Former University of South Dakota star basketball player Chloe Lamb has been nominated as South Dakota’s representative for the 2022 NCAA woman of the year award. The NCAA Woman of the Year award was established in 1991 to recognize graduating female college athletes who have used up NCAA eligibility and distinguished themselves in academics, athletics, service and leadership. There are a total of 577 nominees from across three NCAA Divisions with 248 nominees from Division I. The award will be given out during the NCAA convention in January with the top 30 honorees being present at the event.
