Former Wolves star Sam Masten signs professional basketball contract with Derby in the UK

Former Northern State star basketball player Sam Masten has signed a professional basketball contract with the Derby Trailblazers in Derby, Derbyshire England. The Derby Trailblazers play in the NBL Division I of the British Basketball system. Masten averaged 18 points, 7.1 assists, and 6.1 steals in 34 minutes per game last season with Northern State. He will join fellow former NSIC player Ryan Bruggeman who is currently signed by Derby and played college basketball at Southwest Minnesota State.
