Four people in northeast South Dakota have been arrested on conspiracy to distribute fentanyl charges. According to the US Attorney for South Dakota, 32-year-old Jevon McLeod, 24-year-old Tiarah Grace Bissonette, both of Sisseton and 57-year-old Daren Lee Basche and 22-year-old Trey Byron Petrich both of Watertown were indicted by a federal grand jury earlier this month. The four have been alleged to knowingly and intentionally conspiring to distribute 40 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing fentanyl. Court documents say the conspiracy lasted as recently as July 11th. They face a maximum penalty of up to 40 years in prison and a $5 million fine.
