Game Fish and Parks announces Zebra Mussels found in Clear Lake

South Dakota Game Fish and Parks has announced Zebra Mussels have been found in another northeast South Dakota lake. Game Fish and Parks announced Clear Lake now has an infestation problem. The mussels were found after inspecting boat lifts in the lake. Clear Lake is located southeast of Lake City. This summer Zebra mussels were discovered in several Day county lakes. According to Game Fish and Parks there is no way to remove the mussels once in a lake and it is best to prevent the spread before it happens.
