Gov. Neom proclaims this week “Shine a Light, Breaking Bread” week

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has proclaimed this week “Shine a Light, Breaking Bread Week in honor of the state of Israel and South Dakota’s friendship with the Jewish people. According to a release about the decision, breaking bread embodies the essence of sharing culture, finding common ground, building community and preserving traditions. The release goes on to tout the long relationship South Dakota has with the state of Israel and Jewish people including naming November 28^th 2021 as antisemitism awareness week.
