South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and US Senator John Thune have released reactions to the new former President Donald Trump has won the presidential election. IN a post to her X account, Governor Noem says the Dakotas are happy to celebrate the 47^th president of the United States. Senator John Thune in a post on social media said the American people have chosen to turn the page on the Biden-Harris administration’s failed policies of high prices and open borders. Trump becomes just the second person in US History to win two non consecutive presidential terms. Thune hopes to become senate majority leader in the coming months as the GOP appears poised to take control of the upper chamber.
