South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem appears to be taking no steps to defend herself in the ethics complaint filed against her. The deadline for Governor Noem to announce her intentions to defend herself came and went Friday. This ethics case is looking into whether or not the Governor abused her office in interfering with her daughter Kassidy getting special treatment while trying to obtain a state certified home appraiser license. Three retired judges on the Government Accountability Board voted last month there was enough evidence for them to believe she had committed malfeasance and engaged in a conflict of interest.
