Gov. Noem nominates Julie Dvorak to serve as judge of SD 5th judicial circuit

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has nominated Aberdeen attorney Julie Dvorak to serve as the newest judge of the South Dakota 5th Judicial Circuit. The circuit is located in Brown County. Dvorak is a northeast South Dakota native who earned her undergraduate degree from Northern State and went to law school at the University of South Dakota. Prior to this nomination she was working as a private practice attorney for Siegel, Barnett and Schultz in Aberdeen. She replaces judge Tony Portra who retired at the end of November.
