Gov. Noem orders flags at half staff at the capital in honor of former AG Gordon Mydland

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has ordered flags to fly at half staff at the capital in Pierre until sunset today in honor of the late former State Attorney General Gordon Mydland of Lake Preston. According to his obituary, Mydland passed away peacefully October sixth at the Brookview Nursing Home in Brookings south Dakota. Myland served as a state senator from 1963 to 1968, as South Dakota Attorney General from 1969 to 1973 and a 3rd circuit court judge from 1973 to 1987.
