Gov. Noem requests to address joint session of the state legislature from the southern border

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has requested a joint session of the South Dakota legislature, which will convene Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Governor Noem sent a letter to the legislature Monday saying she will address the legislature from the US Mexico border, giving lawmakers an update on the situation at the border and South Dakota’s response. Governor Noem described the southern border as a quote “warzone”.
