Gov. Noem responds to Nazis demonstrating at the Capital and in Deadwood

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has released a statement regarding a group of neo Nazis protesting at the State Capital in Pierre and in Deadwood over the weekend. In a statement released on her X formerly twitter account, the Governor says the group demonstrated at the state capital without a permit and were escorted away by highway patrol. She went on to say Nazis are not welcome here in South Dakota and that the United States fought Nazis during world war two for the freedoms we enjoy today. The group calls itself Blood Tribe and were in South Dakota to allegedly protest HB1076, passed by the state legislature this past session. 1076 defines antisemitism and aims to prevent such discrimination in the work place.
