Gov. Noem set to endorse former President Trump in GOP primary

CNN reports South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem plans to officially endorse former President Donald Trump for president today at an event in Rapid City. Governor Noem has been a consistent supporter of President Trump, despite the fact he currently faces over 90 criminal charges in at least four jurisdictions across the United States. With this endorsement Governor Noem will break with other statewide elected officials including US Senators John Thune and Mike Rounds who have each endorsed South Carolina Senator Tim Scott for President. US Representative Dusty Johnson say she will not officially endorse a candidate for president, but has spoken highly about Scott when asked about the GOP primary.
