Gov. Noem son-in-law Kyle Peters files to run for Watertown city council

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem’s son in law has made a foray into politics. Kyle Peters, the husband of Noem’s daughter Kassidy has filed to run for a city council seat in Watertown’s Ward B. He is one of three candidates in the race including incumbent Colin Paulsen and former Councilman Jason Redemeske. The election will be held on June 20th.
