Ground water from sump pumps or any standing water must be discharged to the curb

The City of Aberdeen Public Works Department is reminding business and homeowners that as of April 14, 2023, ground water from sump pumps or any standing water is not allowed to be discharged into the city sanitary sewer system.  It is recommended that discharges be to the curb and gutter outside your home or business in a manner that will not impact your neighbors.  If you have questions regarding sump pumps, please call the Public Works Office at 626-7011.  Thank you for your cooperation.
