Hartford chiropractor indicted on several sex related charges

A Hartford Chiropractor who earlier this month had been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing teenage patients in his care has since been indicted. According to court documents 31-year-old Joel Martens now faces rape and sexual contact with a child in his care. The alleged incident began when the victim was 16-years-old and he was helping her work out for the West Central Track and Field team. The documents goes onto allege Martens and the victim had sex over 100 times at his chiropractic office. He faces 2 counts of rape in the second degree, 12 counts of sexual contact with a child under 18, two counts possession of child pornography and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.
