An inmate in the South Dakota state penitentiary in Sioux Falls. According to the state department of corrections, 76-year-old Manford Adkins passed away July 1st. Adkins was a former Box Elder cop serving multiple life sentences for two counts kidnapping and two counts of murder on July 14th in 1973. He was charged out of Meade county.
