Interim AG Mark Vargo names Chad Mosteller DCI director

South Dakota Interim Attorney General Mark Vargo announced Tuesday he has named Chad Mosteller to serve as the director of the state Division of Criminal Investigation effective immediately. Mosteller replaces David Natvig who was let go by Vargo after he was appointed interim AG by Governor Kristi Noem. Natvig was an appointed to direct DCI by impeached attorney general Jason Ravnsborg. Mosteller will serve until a new Attorney General is elected by voters in November and they can then choose whether or not to keep him on.
