South Dakota State University head football coach Jon Steigelmeier has been named the 2022 Stats Perform Eddie Robinson Award recipient. The award is given annually to the coach considered the best in FCS football that season and is the first time he has received the award. Stiegelmeier was also named Missouri Valley coach of the year. Stiegelmeier lead the Jacks to the #1 overall seed in the FCS playoffs with a 10-1 regular season record.
