Aberdeen Public School district volunteer substitute teacher Kathy Anderson has been named the winner of the 2023 Aberdeen Education Association Educator Plus Award. The award was given out Tuesday during a welcome back event at Central High School. Anderson was a longtime Aberdeen Public School teacher. The award itself started in 1991 to recognize retired teachers who stay active in the community and with children.
