A civil lawsuit filed against the Aberdeen City Council and councilwoman Tiffany Langer has been dismissed. The lawsuit challenged the residency of Langer and was filed by David and Julie Shultis in May of 2022. The lawsuit alleged Councilwoman Langer maintained her seat on the council while relocating to Fargo North Dakota. Court paperwork shows the case was dismissed at the end of December. Langer denied any allegations she had relocated to Fargo at the time of the lawsuit.
