Legendary Vikings coach Bud Grant passes away at 95

Longtime Minnesota Vikings head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bud Grant passed away over the weekend. He was 95 years old. The team made the announcement via its social media. Grant was the most successful coach in Vikings history, with a career NFL record of 158-96-5, being named coach of the year in 1969 and winning an NFL championship that same year. Before joining the Vikings Grant spent nine seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League where he won four Grey Cup Championships and was inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame in 1983.
