A 55-year-old woman died Saturday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash north of Buffalo.
The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of family.
A 1997 Toyota Corolla was southbound on U.S. Highway 85 when the driver lost control. The vehicle went into the east ditch and rolled.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
