One woman died early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle crash west of Mobridge.
Her name is not being released pending notification of family. She was the only person involved.
A 2002 KIA Forte was westbound on U.S. Highway 12 when the vehicle crossed into the other lane of traffic, went into the south ditch and eventually rolled several times. The driver, who wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
