The South Dakota Attorney General’s office says six people have been arrested as a result of a sex trafficking sting.
Jackley says his office was joined by the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, Sturgis Police Department and Rapid City Police Department in the sting, with cooperation from the South Dakota Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Arrested were 55-year-old Robert Bungert of Sturgis, 29-year-old Zam Mung of Rapid City, 30-year-old Jeremiah Stertz of Yankton, 50-year-old Paul Heib of Rapid City, 20-year-old Connor Harmon of Sturgis and 38-year-old Adam Myosky of Port Clinton, Ohio.
All of them are charged with attempted enticement of a minor using the Internet – a felony.
Jackley says this cooperative operation continues to focus on removing sexual predators from the streets.
