According to campaign finance numbers released by both the Kristi Noem and Billie Sutton campaigns, Noem outraised and outspent Sutton in the final quarter of the race to be the state’s next governor. Noem reported bringing in $2.2 million through Oct. 17th while Sutton brought in $1.4 million. Noem also reported spending approximately $2.7 million while Sutton spent $1.6 million. As far as cash on hand goes Sutton reportedly has about $640,000 in the bank while Noem has $550,000. The two candidates will square off for the first time in a televised debate tonight on Keloland. The debate is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. central time.
