An out-of-control man tased by Sioux Falls police last week at a Motel Six has died in the hospital.
Police officers were called to the motel because Joshua Jay Langley, 28, was screaming in his room, bothering other guests. The authorities say he refused to give up quietly and was tased. Soon after he became unconscious and was rushed to the hospital.
Meth was found in his room.
It's unclear if the tasing itself had anything to do with his death. Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says an autopsy will be performed.
