Congressman Johnson looks to deal to keep the government open

To avoid another partial federal government shutdown, negotiators in Washington, DC, have about two more weeks to come up with a federal budget both Pres. Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will agree on.


South Dakota republican Representative Dusty Johnson says the environment now is very different from what it was before and during the 35 day shutdown.




Johnson says they’re giving the conference committee time to work.





Johnson says it doesn’t matter whether it’s the republicans or the democrats who bring a compromise solution forward first.
