Max and Erma's restaurant in Aberdeen announced on its Facebook page Sunday night, the establishment will be closing.
According to the post, the business has been serving Aberdeen and northeast South Dakota for 10 years and will cease opperations April 14th at 10:00 p.m. Gift cards will be accepted until the closing date and will expire thereafter.
The post also makes it clear the restaurant is for sale.
Max and Erma's is a chain restaurant located mostly in the west portion of the midwest, including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Virginia. The Aberdeen location was the only one in South Dakota and furtherst west of any other location.
