The South Dakota board of regents at its meeting Wednesday approved a motion that will raise public universities tuition and mandatory general activity fees by about 3.4 percent. Actual amounts will vary by campus.
An undergraduate taking 30 credit hours of classes will pay for her or his classes
$9,009 at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, up 3.2 percent or $276 more.
$9,535 at Dakota State University in Madison, up 2.8 percent or $259.50 more.
$8,751 at Northern State University in Aberdeen, up 3.0 percent or $253.50 more.
$10,050 at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, up 2.8 percent or $271.50 more.
$9,331.50 at University of South Dakota in Vermillion, up 3.0 percent or $271.50 more.
$9,114 at South Dakota State University in Brookings, up 4.0 percent or $351 more.
