Moccasin Creek in Aberdeen has reached flood levels. A citywide text alert went out yesterday just after noon as the area received rain on Thursday and excessive melting snow leads to raising water levels. It is not known how much higher, if at all, the creek will continue to rise, but residents living alongside the creek should prepare for flooding. Mayor Mike Levsen says the belief is the creek is at its peak, but could get worse should we get rain in the future. Along with Moccasin creek flooding, several county roads are closed because of flooding.
