The South Dakota Department of Transportation has released information on a bridge project scheduled to begin in Aberdeen today. According to the DOT, the bridge on third avenue southeast over Moccasin Creek will begin undergoing repairs today at an estimated cost of $1.2 million. Part of third avenue southeast will be closed for the duration of the project. Third avenue will be closed near Primrose Retirement Community to 500 feet east of South Wilson Street. The project is expected to be completed in the fall.
