The famed Notre Dame cathedral in Paris caught fire Monday, attracting the attention of the entire world. Fire crews were able to put out the blaze that destroyed much of the 850 year old structure. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The cathedral was built in the 13th century and is considered a feat of architecture, attracting 13 million visitors a year. French president Emmanuel Macron called the fire a terrible tragedy and promised to rebuild the church.
