An Aberdeen man will serve 20 years in prison following sentencing in a robbery case from back in 2018. According to court documents 32-year-old Nicholas Peterson pleaded guilty Wednesday to felony robbery and ingestion of methamphetamine charges. Police allege Peterson robbed the Super 8 East on Roosevelt Street in January of 2018 by wearing a mask and brandishing a weapon to steal an undisclosed amount of money. The judge in this case gave Peterson six years suspended from his sentence and credit for 151 days served. He will serve the terms concurrently with a five-year sentence for the ingestion charge.
