Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders made news Sunday when he announced at a rally he has a plan to pass a national right-to-repair law for Farmers across the United States.

According to the policy rollout on his web site, Sanders calls for not only a national right-to-repair law so farmers can fix their own equipment, but also antitrust legislation to break up large agriculture firms and the reforming of patent law to protect farmers from seed patents.

Sanders is the third Democrat candidate to call for such a law, with the others being Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren and Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper.
