An Aberdeen man will be sentenced at a later date not yet set, after being found guilty of raping a 6-year-old girl. According to the Aberdeen American News, 29-year-old Jerren D. Manning was conceited by a jury of two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of sexual contact with a child under the age of 16. The incidents took place between June 2017 and September of 2018. The rape charges carry a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison with a $50,000 fine. Sexual contact with a child also carries a mandatory minimum of 15 years and a $30,000 fine.
