Two Watertown men have been convicted of drug charges.  According to the US Attorney for South Dakota’s office 29-year-old Dayvon Byrd and 38-year-old Joshua Noel Paul will serve time for allegedly attempting to sell methamphetamine in northeast South Dakota.  Byrd will serve 60 months in prison on conspiracy to distribute while Paul will serve 211 months for conspiracy and possession of a firearm while drug trafficking.  The charges stem from a bust in February of 2018 when the two were pulled over for a routine traffic stop and officers found six pounds of meth.
