The state of South Dakota is set to receive approximately $4 million from the federal government to fight the opioid crisis.  The White House made the announcement yesterday as part of a $1.8 billion grant program aimed at funding state and local governments to bolster treatment and prevention efforts.  The State Department of Health already has content on its web site about what individuals can do to help curb the problem of opioid abuse in their own communities.
