The Aberdeen City Council Monday chose to keep an ordinance prohibiting the use of an attached garage as a place of business largely intact.  One change made was the city will now allow a business which operates out of the home one off sight employee.  Aberdeen Mayor Travis Schaunaman had wanted to allow residents to use an attached garage as a place of business, but could not get the support of a majority of the council.  Despite misinformation being spread on social media, this ordinance amendment does nothing to garage sales or daycare providers.
