An Aberdeen man has been arrested following an early morning investigation into shots being fired. According to a release from the police department, 25-year-old Zachary T. Sumner was arrested for driving under the influence. Police blocked off the 100 block of South Main Street near 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning and found an altercation between two men. The altercation eventually led to one man pulling a shotgun out of a vehicle. The two men struggled over the gun and a shot went off. The men left the area, one with minor facial injuries as a result of physical assault. The investigation into the situation remains ongoing.
