Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders won the second contest in the Democratic Presidential Primary Tuesday night in the New Hampshire Primary. The contest went off without a hitch, unlike the Iowa caucuses earlier this month. Sanders finished with 25.7 percent of the vote, ahead of Pete Buttigieg who came in a close second with 24.4 percent. Minnesota senator Amy Klobuchar finished in a surprise third with 19.8 percent while Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden rounded off the top five respectively. Following this contest will be the Nevada caucuses February 22nd. The race should get more interesting as it moves from the predominately white state’s of Iowa and New Hampshire onto more and more diverse states.
