A 17-year-old Sioux Falls teenager has been charged with attempted murder in the violence which took place following a peaceful protest May 31st. Decimas Jesus Laurelez has been accused by police of first throwing rocks at officers then producing a handgun from his waistband, pointing in officers direction and firing several shots. Police say they have video evidence against Laurelez. An arrest warrant was issued June 6th on attempted murder, aggravated assault on law enforcement and riot. The warrant includes a $100,000 cash bond.
