The Aberdeen City Council will hold a special meeting tonight discussing a new city ordinance to replace the current COVID-19 ordinance. Per state statue, an emergency ordinance can last no longer than 60 days. The original ordinance is set to expire June 14th. This new ordinance would eliminate many of the regulations put in place by the city all call on businesses to adhere to CDC guidelines as well as limit capacity. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.
