Those who use the WIC program or Women, Infants and Children will see some changes in South Dakota beginning July 1st.  WIC is a special supplemental nutrition program for low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children under the age of five.  New guidelines say families who do not exceed 185 percent of the federal poverty level could qualify for WIC.  Those levels vary depending on the size of the family.
