South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has announced the launching of UpSkill, a new program aimed at helping out of work South Dakotan’s re-train for new jobs in the work force. The program offers 22 online certification programs in high-demand fields such as health care or manufacturing. Upskill will begin this fall semester and be administered through the state’s four technical colleges. This will be made available to South Dakotan’s at little or no cost.
