Two people in Sioux Falls have been arrested after authorities allege they kidnapped and threatened a man subletting their apartment.  Police responded to a call at an apartment complex in the area of 6th street and Sycamore Avenue for a reported kidnapping.  Upon arrival officers found the victim who had texted his girlfriend he was being held captive.  Police say the victim was able to escape before officers arrived.  The two suspects 25-year-old Joshua Butcher and 33-year-old Adria Ellsworth threatened the victim with a wrench and handgun, seeking rent money.  Both face abuse or cruelty to a minor, aggravated assault, second degree kidnapping, second degree robbery and multiple drug charges.
