Watertown high school has announced it has suspended all in-person classes and activities for the remainder of the week due to COVID-19. This news comes after the Pierre School District and Stanely County have announced plans to move to distance learning for the time being. According to a post on social media from Watertwon Superintendent Jeff Danielsen, Watertown will be going online and activities canceled or postponed due to the number of COVID-19 positive cases. The school goes on to say it will release details on a possible return to in-person classes and activities alter this week.
