The Hoven school district is the latest to announce plans going away from traditional learning for distance learning due to COVID-19. According to a post on social media from the district the Hoven school district called off school Monday and Tuesday due to four cases of COVID-10 among its students. Plans are for the school to undergo a deep cleaning and have the elementary and pre-kindergarten kids back to class Wednesday, but grades 7 through 12 are online classes only until further notice. Pierre, Stanley County, Watertown and now Hoven have all gone to a form of distance learning due to COVID-19 over the last week.
