The deadline to register to vote in South Dakota in the upcoming November election is Monday Oct. 19th at 5:00 p.m. If you are not registered you are encouraged to head to your county auditor’s office and do so. You can also vote early during the same visit if you chose. According to secretary of state Steve Barnett, approximately a quarter of registered voters have already cast their vote for the upcoming Nov. 3rd election. On the ballot includes your local races, questions about marijuana in South Dakota, a senate and house race and the race for president amongst other choices.
