Locally, District 1 Representative Republican Tamara St. John won re-election while Democrat Jennifer Healy Keintz won her first term. District 1 state senate seat has flipped from Democrat to Republican with first time candidate Michael Rohl defeating Susan Wismer with 57 percent of the vote. Brown County commissioners Rachel Kippley and Duane Sutton both won re-election and will serve another eight year term. In district 3 Republican incumbents Carl Perry and Drew Dennert have won re-election to antoher two year term. Dennert received 34 percent of the vote, followed by Perry with 29 percent. Democrats Leslie McLaughlin received 19 percent and Justin Roemmick finished with 18 percent.
