Following a night of uncertainty on the national level when it comes to presidential politics, some states made history.
South Dakota became the first state in the nation to legalize recreational and medical marijuana at the same time.
Meanwhile, Oregon becomes the first state in the nation to decriminalize hard drugs like herion, cocaine and meth via a 59-41 vote. If someone is using those drugs, it will not longer be treated as a criminal offense and instead be treated as a health problem. Oregon plans on offering users addiction services funded by marijuana tax revenue which has been more than $100 million a year in the state.
Only small amount of said "hard drugs" have been decriminalize.
